Metal Recycler Cuts Ribbon on New Bowling Green Facility

Southern Recycling LLC has announced opening of its new scrap metal processing facility in Bowling Green, Kentucky. The ribbon-cutting ceremony was attended by top company officials along with representatives from Warren County, the City of Bowling Green and the Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce. This is the company’s fifth processing facility in Kentucky and Tennessee region. The state-of-the-art processing facility features equipment intended to significantly boost the company’s processing capacity in the region.

Spencer Coates, president of Houchens-Southern Recycling’s parent company stated that the company is thrilled to have the modern facility in Bowling Green. He thanked all involved in the design and completion of the facility including the Chamber of Commerce, city and county governments and their representatives, and Stewart Richey Construction. He also appreciated the hard work and dedication of the management and employees of Southern Recycling.

John Fellonneau, Southern Recycling’s president states that the new facility will help to position Southern Recycling as the region’s premier recycling facility. He expressed the hope that the new facility will continue to support the growth of Warren County and the surrounding areas.

Meantime, Ron Bunch, president and CEO of the Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce recollected the valuable business and consumer services provided by companies like Southern Recycling and Houchens Industries that has led to the unprecedented growth of the Bowling Green community.
